Ok folks, only 10 days until the Imogene Pass Run tickets go on sale. Race day for 2014 is September 6, and just like every other year, the tickets sell FAST. In fact, they usually sell out within a few hours of going on sale. Last year they sold out within 2.5 hours of going on sale. The entry fee for the race is $75.00. If you are considering this year’s race, mark June 1st in your calendar as the day tickets go on sale.
Last year’s winner was Jason Wolfe of Flagstaff, AZ. Jason completed the grueling course in 2h17m. He did the race 1 minute faster than his 2012 time! That’s what I call consistency.
From the Imogene Pass Run website:
Entry is NON TRANSFERABLE and can only be used by the person who is originally confirmed by their registration submission for the year that they register. No Transfers, No Refunds, No Rainchecks. Part of your entry fee will be given to the USFS to help maintain our National Forest and to ensure the continued use of Forest Service lands for the IPR.
