New Lift-Served Telluride Bike Park Opens Summer 2019

Mountain biking has long been a staple of Telluride’s summer adventure offerings, but during summer of 2019, Telluride Ski Resort is elevating the game with the brand new Telluride Bike Park. This new and completely unique lift-served experience offers variety of interconnected free ride, technical & cross-country trails, camps and guides for all abilities. Whether you’re a never-ever biker or an expert, this new biking experience has something for you!

The Telluride Bike Park is expected to open July 5 (weather permitting). The Telluride Bike Park will feature new free ride trails in addition to enhancements to the existing network of technical trails and to the existing network of multi-use XC Trails within the resort area. Bikers will be able to use the Village Express (Lift 4) located right in the Mountain Village core to access the Telluride Bike Park!

Visitors can expect Phase I of the Telluride Bike Park to be completed in 2019, to include approximately 15 trails spread over 17 miles. There will be approximately 5 miles of Green Trails, 8 miles of Blue Trails and 4 miles of Black Trails, offering a variety of rated terrain to explore.

During operating hours, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., lift access to the Mountain Bike Trail Network will require an access pass. Before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m. the free ride and technical trails in the Bike Park are closed, but riders can access the XC Trails without an access pass. XC trails usual include a mix of rolling terrain, uphill climbs and downhill stretches consisting of multi-use single-track, double-track, and service roads and these trails allow for hiking and biking.
